All Quiet On The Silent Front....?
Hi folks!
We thought it was time for a quick update on our website, to fill you all in on what's happening. We may be quiet on the surface, but below the water, we're paddling like crazy!
Gigs. We had a blast supporting Little Caesar at the Academy followed quickly by HRHAOR VI festival in the spring. What an event it was. Brilliantly organised, massive and enthusiastic crowd, plus a huge range of great bands. We are hoping that we'll be invited back for 2020. If you get the chance to go and watch, don't miss it.
Band members. Please welcome Pete Almond who joins us on drums and Mark "Blowwave" Nortley, who joins us on bass. Both Pete and Mark come with an incredible pedigree. Mark has played in bands alongside the likes of Lee Revill of Blood Red Saints fame and Pete joins us from Roadhog, where our former bass player, Neil used to play. You can read more on both of these guys on our facebook page.
New Songs. We've been busy behind the scenes writing new material as well has adding new band members to the fold. We now have the following songs written and ready to go: Momentum, Fantasy, Can't Beat the Feeling, Hearts On Fire and Ghosts of Chances. (we have several more part-written too). We should be playing these new songs at our next gig.
Recording. We have been working on the recording process for our next album. We've recorded Momentum a number of ways and with different people to find the right process and to get the right sound for us. We want the next album to be a wall for melodic, hook filled stadium rock! More news will follow and perhaps a sneak peak at a snippet of music......you have to be good though.
Coming up. Next gig for us, is with our Friends in Hellbent Forever at Eleven in Stoke. on 15th December. You will be able to hear new songs, which we'll be testing out for your reaction, so please make a note of the date and join us for the fun. We'll be out front to watch Helbent Forever, so come and talk to us and let us know what you think.
Love, light and peace,
Silent Victory - Tony, Sean, Martin, Pete and Mark
